      FITZPATRICK SCALE
        SKIN TYPE:
  1.  Always burns, never tans
  2. Usually burns, tans with difficulty
  3. Sometimes burns (mild) gradually tans
  4. Rarely burns, tans with ease to moderate brown
  5. Very rarely burns, tans very easily
  6. Never burns, tans very easily deeply pigmented  

VIOLET BASE is best suited on skin with warm undertones and olive skin complexion. Those with skin type 3 and above would be best suited to violet base.


GREEN BASE is best suited on skin with cool undertones, this is typically anyone with pink/red undertones and those with skin type 1 or 2 skin type on the Fitzpatrick scale.  

Below is a guide on how long to leave your tan on before having your first rinse. 

  • Light 2-4 hrs
  • Medium 4-6 hrs
  • Dark 6hrs +
